The Family Worship Group decided to try something different this year for the Crib Service held on Christmas Eve. We made Finger puppets - glued and sewn over a couple of sessions. They were given out as children came in, and then as the story was told, people had to hold up their fingers and wave. It went down very well - even with some of the adults joining in. The congregation could take their puppet home afterwards to remind them of the service. They were cheaper to make than buying commercially and it was more fun. We were delighted with the results - especially the Highland coos.
