From the Rector

Next Sunday, 14th July, is my final Sunday on Deeside and there will be a Communion Service for members of all the congregations at St Kentigern’s at 10.30am.  Then at six o’clock here at St Thomas’s, there will be a service of Sung Evensong, where we will be joined by Rev Lisa Eunson and the choir and people of Christ Church Kincardine O'Neil.  Everyone is most welcome at both these services, which will provide Alice and me with the opportunity to say our goodbyes to you all.

Editor's note: St Kentigern's are hosting a bring-and-share lunch after the service to which we are invited.  Please contact us if you want to go, for numbers and to let us know your contribution.

Rev James Curry

The Roman Catholic Church in Scotland holds an annual ecumenical event - this year in Aberdeen on Saturday 14th September.  +Bob and representatives of the Scoittish Episcopal Church have been invited and the diocese has passed on the invitation, with the hope that parishes will be able to send 2-3 people.  The plan is to meet at the Mither Kirk of Aberdeen (St Nicholas) and walk to St Mary's Cathedral Huntly Street for a service at 15.00, followed by light refreshments.  Please contact if you want to come. Responses need by 31 July please.

Finally, the July/August copy of Centrepost is attached.  Please note that the time of James' last service at St. Kentigern's should read 10.30 am not 9.30 am.
