Message from Lisa: Andrew Wilson once again gave us a delightful sermon. His picture, complete with local colour, of geese flying in formation was a great reminder of the strength we gain from being a community which shares leadership and keeps an eye on each other. A good metaphor for the way the interregnum has been working.

Message from Sue: +Bob writes, "My Lent Appeal for 2014 will be for the work of the Mother’s Union in Zimbabwe. Every penny we raise will support their 'Church and Community mobilization Process'.  This is a bible based project that aims to alleviate poverty, increase self-reliance, build community cohesion and increase the awareness of the link between lived faith and living."  More details are available in leaflets in the church. Our spare money jars collection will be going to this appeal.

Planning for Vittoria's induction (28th Feb) proceeds. Can we remind you again to please let us know what you are bringing for the reception if you are planning to attend. Finger food, (sweet and savoury), wine and soft drinks are welcome.  Items can be left in the Partition Room in the Community Centre (upstairs next to the servery) from 18.00 until 18.30 on the evening of Friday 28th February when the room will be closed so that all can attend the service.

'Faith in the Media'.  A poster attached for this meal with speaker in Aberdeen  on Sunday 2nd March.
